ROLF BLUMIG lebt in Leipzig und liebt die Musik in etwa so sehr, wie er den Kapitalismus verachtet. Trotzdem spielt er mit im Game, allein schon wegen der praktischen Distributionswege. Musikalisch bewegt sich Rolfie, wie
ihn seine Fans und Freunde nennen dürfen, zwischen Rock und Pop. Er schätzt Fleetwood Mac genauso wie Zeckenrap und hält eisern fest am zeitlosen Sound der Millionenfach schon totgesagten elektrischen Gitarre.
Zusammen mit seiner extrem belastungsstarken Rhythmusgruppe betreibt er ein fahrendes Livegeschäft, das wahlweise als ROLF BLUMIG BAND oder ZIRKUS BLUMIG ins Rampenlicht rückt.
